WTO Monthly Merchandise Trade Statistics

The WTO Monthly Merchandise Trade Statistics (Monthly trade dashboard) provides access to bilateral trade data for over 120 economies and more than 200 trading partners across 72 WTO Multilateral Trade Negotiations subcategories. It covers statistics from 2018 through the latest available month for each economy.

WTO Monthly Merchandise Trade Statistics features three interactive tabs designed to help users explore and analyse trade trends:
Short-Term Insights: Provides total trade values and growth rates by product for a selected economy, giving a snapshot of recent performance and trends.

** Bilateral Trade**: Provides trade values and bilateral shares of two selected reporters, offering insights into key trading relationships and product-level dynamics.

** All Partners**: Provides trade values, growth rates and partner shares for a selected economy, highlighting key partners and shifts in trade patterns.

The dashboards aggregate trade flows into monthly, quarterly and year-to-date (YTD) views. This allows for both detailed and comparative analysis of trade performance over time. The tool supports policymakers, researchers and businesses in understanding the dynamics of international trade.

Data source and updates: Data in the dashboard is updated weekly and draws on statistics from Trade Data Monitor (TDM), which sources trade data from government offices and agencies across the world.
