I-TIP Goods: Integrated Non-Tariff Measure Information

The Integrated Trade Intelligence Portal – Goods (I-TIP Goods) dataset offers comprehensive information on non-tariff measures (NTMs) applied by World Trade Organization (WTO) Members in merchandise trade. It consolidates data from various WTO notifications and trade policy documents, providing insights into the regulatory landscape affecting international trade.

I-TIP goods contains information on detailed records of different non-tariff measures, including:
- technical barriers to trade (TBT),
- sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures,
- trade defence instruments (anti-dumping, countervailing duties, safeguards),
- quantitative restrictions,
- import licensing,
- measures from the Agreement on Agriculture such as tariff rate quotas, special safegaurds, export subsides, etc.
- Specific Trade Concerns (STCs), covering information on trade-related issues raised by WTO Members in committee meetings are also made available.

There are links to the WTO's tariff and trade databases, providing contextual information on tariffs and trade flows relevant to each measure.

I-TIP goods utilizes the Harmonized System (HS) for product classification, allowing for detailed analysis by product category.

This dataset serves as a valuable resource for analyzing the application and trends of non-tariff measures across WTO Members, facilitating research and policy analysis in the field of international trade.
