Global Value Chains

The Global Value Chains Dataset is a joint research effort to better understand the ongoing development and evolution of global value chains and their implications for economic development. It is a common project by the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Asian Development Bank, Institute of Developing Economies – Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Several analysis are made available through a series of publication:

Global Value Chain Development Report: Analytical insights and aggregated data presenting trends, challenges, and developments in global value chains worldwide.

Trade in Value-Added and Global Value Chains Profiles: Data profiling the value added by countries in the production of goods and services, highlighting their participation and roles within global value chains.
