Rules of Origin

The Rules of Origin Facilitator dataset is a comprehensive resource developed by the International Trade Centre (ITC), in collaboration with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Customs Organization (WCO). It provides detailed information on rules of origin and origin-related provisions across over 500 trade agreements, encompassing more than 190 countries and territories. This dataset serves as a valuable tool for businesses, policymakers, and researchers seeking to understand and navigate the complex landscape of international trade rules and preferences.

Trade Agreements: Information on bilateral, regional, and multilateral trade agreements, including their status (in force, signed, or under negotiation).

Product Classification: Data is organized according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes, allowing users to search by product name or HS code.

Agreement Status: Includes information on agreements that are currently in force, signed but not yet in force, and those under negotiation.

Documentation Access: Provides access to original legal texts, certificates of origin, and other relevant documentation for each trade agreement.
